correspondence is poetry enlarged

I used to work at a literary magazine where we did an issue on Ian Hamilton Finlay (concrete poet, avant gardner, artist) and he had notepaper with 'Correspondence is Poetry Enlarged' printed on it. I've searched all over google but cannot find an image of it.

But I love the idea. IHF kept up a voluminous correspondence I realise now many decades later that it was because he was isolated at Little Sparta the garden and home he co-created with his wife due to agraphobia.

Want more correspondence in January? not to late to sign up for Postal Joy.

Ian Hamilton Finlay

I know of him. I remember reading about him. It was one of those obscure articles that never left my mind.
