BIG PUDDLES

Went to the Borders to pick up the nieclet (AKA the Cutest Niece in the World TM) to bring her back to Edinburgh so she can catch the train tomorrow. Found myself pelting down a farm track behind her as she ran along shouting 'BIG PUDDLE BIG PUDDLE'. Entrusted with keeping her dry I had to latch onto her hood to keep her out of the water. And point out that it wasn't mud it was poo. We made freinds with the 3 sheep dogs, looked at the lambs in the shed, viisted the 10 day old kittens in a bucket (mother cat had killed a large rabbit and draped that over the rim of said bucket). A busy day for a two year old but very satisifying.

How cute!

Did niecelet have to be frisked for purloined kittens before returning to Edinburgh? I can't imagine many 2 year olds not attempting to 'adopt' a kitten!

kittens safe enough

I think the danger was more from her aunt - soooo cute softest pale gray and white stripes - only two of them. Mother erhum a single parent. Cutest Neice has a soft hearted tabby cat at home so happy enough!
