I've been meaning to organise my own for a few years now. Over time I'd had hideous experiences as a temp at Christmas - I will not bore  you with temp war stories. I've been thinking for a while how nice it would be to have an office Christmas party with people you actually liked. Last night 4 self employed people I know managed to congregate at Kalpna's restaurant and we had a great time ! This is definatly something I will turn into an annual tradition.

I find other people's traditions oppressive but enjoy starting my own - like my Love Yourself Day which is my Anti-Valentines tradition, my annual Card Writing for Amnesty Party, and opening presents on New Year's Eve instead of Christmas Day.
